Line 6 Spider III Print E-mail

Wow! I thought I would never say good bye to my Fender Pro Junior. But I guess the time has come. This was my 10th year anniversary gift from my wife. I was really surprised since we are in a really tight budget. One thing bad about tube amp is that I have to constantly fight with inconstancies. I hope this baby will resolve that issue.

This one has more than what I need for tones and sounds. Here are my favorite preset sounds so far and they are stored in my first 4 channels; 01A Lead O Rama, 01B D/Plate, 01C Caynenne, 01D Swell Pedal. I had to adjust and reprogram the channel volume for each preset so that they would be somewhat consistent. I like that it has CD/MP3 player jack that I can plug my MP-GT1 and jam. I have compiled all the preset sounds and it is available below for download. Not having much time to practice during the day, I plug my headphone and enjoy my little riff at night.
Setting it to a "Compare" mode was little tricky. While you are holding Tab button, you can compare the original settings as you turn the knobs. This is useful function to see how presets are set up and you can compare with your customized setting. I will tell you more about new FBV Express when I get a chance.
